The N-Buggy stands as a portable silo with 5 ton compacity that allows nitrogen to be applied at the same time as crop irrigation. The design has been unique to Hayes Spraying since 1992, this innovation employs a conveyor belt mechanism to dispense stored urea, potassium, or other solid fertilizers into the supply channel or head ditch.
Adaptable application rates spanning 5-200 kg per hectare are attainable and easily tailored to individual requirements through an intuitive digital control panel. The N-Buggy runs on a deep cycle battery, charged by a solar panel.
This allows the N-Buggy to be fully and continuously operational day and night without the burden of generators or pumps.
